About Niki

My name is Niki Remmer, and I started Blossom Advising in 2024 while finishing my Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Walden University.

I worked for 9 years as a public high school English teacher and 4 years as a substitute teacher. After experiencing the wide-reaching consequences of a poorly-managed organizational change, I enrolled in Walden University’s Master’s program to help me learn exactly how and why the change initiative was ineffective. Focusing on change management, not simply damage control, I know how to help individuals and organizations rise to meet and embrace change.

As a former teacher, I understand the unique challenges faced by healers of various modalities as Laurie Mae Northrup defines in her book Radical Healership. These challenges effect productivity, attrition, employee health and well-being, organizational culture, and, ultimately, cost organizations money. My personal experience and formal education allow me to share solutions with individuals, teams, and organizations. It’s important not just to survive the emotionally and physically demanding work you do but to thrive. I have developed mentoring and coaching programs, well-being initiatives, and team-building frameworks that have helped others deal with stress, low morale, and burnout.
